Health-conscious Boom: Consumption of nutritional supplements in Southeast Asia

Getting balanced meals daily is a challenge for many individuals who have to balance between life and work, and some of them are turning to additional support through nutritional supplements to address specific deficiencies and enhance their overall health. Moreover, the increasing understanding that mental well-being is as crucial as physical health has spurred the uptake of supplements designed to bolster cognitive function, reduce stress, and promote emotional balance, among other uses. In this study, we find out how often Southeast Asian consumers take nutritional supplements, and the purposes for doing so - including for physical and mental health purposes.
